Outgoing Postcards for Postcrossing (June 2017)

This time around I'll be sending 15 postcards out. It's the most that I've ever sent out at once.

I generated all the addresses in one go too, so having to sit down and find the best postcards for each person and writing them a little note was the most tiring thing I had to do. Luckily, I wasn't short of any stories since I had just come home from a 2 week holiday. It was definitely what I needed to get back into a good and productive mood.

While writing these postcards, I realized that I was short of stamps and had to restock my little metal tin where I store them. I usually buy regular 50 cent ones as it costs 50 cents to send a standard sized postcard overseas.

I was so surprised to learn that there was a new type of stamp. It had been quite a while since I bought stamps; last year to be specific. So I had to look them up. They're called "International Definitive Stamps". The lady at the counter recommended them as they are made for overseas letters and they are GST free. That's right, regular stamps that do not have the "International" or "Antarabangsa" label are charged GST. Wtf right? It was definitely news to me.
