I got tarot cards! Now I can see the future! (Not really)
I've always been interested in tarot cards. Way back when I was in high school I remember coming to Mid Valley's MPH (which was still huge at the time) and browsing through their limited selection of tarot decks. They were SO expensive, I mean, they're still expensive now but I'm working now so. hahaha
I have to admit that the Tarot Del Fuego is not my first deck. My first deck was a Llewellyn tarot deck, which came in a set with a book. Though the Llewellyn deck was beautiful and helpful, I felt like I needed another deck (not cause I just wanted one of course :P).

I had seen other amazing tarot decks online but many of them are not available in Malaysia. You can find them on websites like Etsy, but they're super expensive (mostly due to the ridiculous delivery charges). So when I saw the Tarot Del Fuego on
Kinokuniya's website, I knew I had to have it.
Here's a little background about the deck before I show it to you.
The deck was illustrated by a Spanish artist, Ricardo Cavolo. He's well known for his use of bright colours and unique symbols which show up in many of his works such as bloody limbs, fire, and multiple eyes. He has illustrated a number of record covers, books, murals, clothing, and more!
This is what the box looks like. Cool huh? If you're into art or illustration like this, then you'd definitely like this deck.
Below are the extra cards that come in the deck. They don't serve any other purpose but they're still very pretty.
Below is what people call a 'little black book' or 'little white book'. These books are just interpretations of each of the cards in the deck. Some tarot decks don't even come with these books like my replicas of the Wild Unknown deck and the Shadowscapes deck. Some books like the one contained in the Tarot Del Fuego deck are translated into several different languages. Don't worry though. You don't have to depend on these interpretations as we have Google now! Google everything. Google is your friend.
Now, onto the deck!
I absolutely love the colours and imagery on this deck. They're bright, weird, and very very very interesting. The cards are also made of quality card stock. They are smaller than my Llewellyn tarot deck, which means they're easy to shuffle. The cards also have a glossy finish, which makes them slide around a bit. Some people find this kinda difficult, but I like the slippery nature of these cards. ^^
Here are some of the cards from each suit (Pentacles, Cups, Swords, Wands).
Overall, I really really love this deck. I can literally spend hours just looking at the cards. I've also had great success with this deck when doing readings for myself and some friends. Even I'm surprised at how accurate some of the readings are!
