Enjoying Earth Day with Aquaria & KL Hop-On Hop-Off Bus

In conjunction with Earth Day, Aquaria and the KL Hop On Hop Off Tour Bus decided to take us around to see KL!

Starting off at KLCC, we waited at the Aquaria stop, which is stop no. 4 on the route. The buses arrive every 30 minutes on days with normal traffic but may take a longer time to arrive during bad weather or peak hours.

The KL Hop-On Hop-Off bus or HoHo is one of the best ways for locals and tourists to see KL. The bus stops at a number of different tourist spots all around KL from the Aquaria KLCC all the way to the Bird Park!

So far, you can find the HoHo bus in KL and in Penang!

This year is the 50th anniversary for Earth year and Aquaria KLCC had organized a number of activities to help teach the public about the importance of understanding and protecting our planet. So, Aquaria invited us to board the HoHo bus along with Rocky (Aquaria KLCC's adorable mascot) to engage the public!

As a part of the Aquaria KLCC Earth Day Specials, they're doing a few projects and activities to spread the word about Earth Day. This outing is part of Rocky's Sprout Day giveaway and is only done on the KL Hop-On Hop-Off bus.

Their other activities include the Recycling Project for Kids which teaches kids about the importance of saving the Earth and what they can do to be a part of the movement.

All these activites went on from 22 April 2016 to 23 April 2016.

As you can see from the pic above, we were all ready to spread the Earth Day love!

We even had to wear adorable sprout clips to show our support! I loved them. They were adorable and I wanted to fill my head with all the clips. But I had to stop myself. (Although by the end of the day I had like 5 sprout clips all over me lol).

These sprout clips were given out for FREE when you share your thoughts about saving the Earth and use their hashtag #AquariaKLCC.

We also had the opportunity to hang out with Rocky and he was SO was adorable! He even had a sprout headband which added to his cuteness. >w<

He was waving to passers by while we announced "Happy Earth Day" on the top of the bus.

Aquaria KLCC's Mascot, Rocky

As you can see, Rocky was working hard that day. Even though it wasn't sunny, the Malaysian heat was no joke. Luckily, we weren't the only one who was enjoying how cute Rocky was as you can see from the pic below.

A lot of people stopped to wave back at Rocky and even snap some pictures!

We enjoyed all the sights during our ride on the Hop-On Hop-Off bus. Here are some of the places we got to see!

As you can see, by the time we were at the end of our little ride we were exhausted. And yes, that is Rocky the mascot's head at our feet. I swear we did not hurt him in any way. hahahaha

After getting off the bus, we headed into KLCC and surprised some shoppers. A lot of kids and adults stopped to say hello and even take a picture with Rocky!

Overall, it was an amazingly fun day. I've never actually been to a lot of the sites on the route so it was nice to be able to see them and enjoy myself with my friends. Even though we got a little tanned from sitting on the roof too long, it was a memorable day.
